Job Summary
General Laborer needed to perform environmental cleanup duties.
The ideal candidate will be prepared, responsive, and willing to meet each challenge directly. Most importantly, they must be able to follow instructions and follow all safety guidelines at the worksite.
Salary: $12.38/hr

Shifts Available:
- 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Thursday
Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive and complete work orders.
- Ability to operate custodial and grounds care equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the methods and practices of custodial work.
- Mow and detail all district grounds, including athletic fields.
- Care for trees, shrubs, and flowers by watering, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, caring for beds, and
- controlling weeds.
- Plant shrubs and vegetation.
- Assist with the preparation of athletic fields for games, including chalking fields.
- Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and refuse from district facilities.
- Assist with the inspection, repair, and maintenance.
- Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
- Notify immediate supervisor of unsafe conditions in work area.
- Help keep vehicle, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition.
- Assist in all areas of Auxiliary Services as needed (i.e., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, custodial, HVAC, grounds, painting, food service, transportation, distribution center, etc.).
- Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as may, from time to time, be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid state issued picture identification.
- Must pass criminal background check
