What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at SUITEMATE STAFFING SOLUTIONS INC?
Salary: DOE
Weekly Pay with benefit options
Shifts Available:
- 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
*3-Month Minimum Contract Assignment with option to extend
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
- Perform computer data entry.
- Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, TSH Policy and Directives and Facility Standards, Rules and Directives.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Valid Texas driver’s license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
- One-year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred but not required
