We are seeking artist who have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for makeup application, providing exceptional service to clients while enhancing their natural beauty. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Makeup Artist, you are responsible for delivering high-quality makeup services for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, and retail settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional makeup application services tailored to client preferences and skin types.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to create stunning looks that enhance clients' features.
- Perform hair threading and body waxing as needed, ensuring all services are executed with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workspaces in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist clients with skincare advice and recommend products that suit their needs.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling makeup products to clients during appointments.
- Collaborate with photographers during photoshoots to achieve desired looks that align with creative visions.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification is required.
- Proven experience in makeup application, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Familiarity with hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and other beauty treatments is a plus.
- Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent understanding of color theory and its application in makeup artistry.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
