Job Title : Part Time Faculty Natural Resource Management Location : Alpine Department : Natural Sciences Posting Date : 04 / 11 / 2019 Until Filled : Yes Salary : $2,550-3,200 based on degree and enrollment Required : Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours or demonstrated expertise in the field to be taught. Preferred : Doctoral degree and prior University teaching experience. Primary Responsibilities : Teach Natural Resource Management courses. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. This position is security sensitive. Salary Detail : Masters Degree under 20 students $850 / credit or $2,550 per 3 SCHMasters Degree over 20 students $500 extraPh.D. under 20 students $900 / credit or $2,700 per 3 SCHPh.D. over 20 students $500 extraSummer Faculty $4,200 per 3 SCH, max 6 SCH per session, prorated for fewer than 10 students Summer courses above the max 6 SCH are paid at the overload rate of $2,130 Other Information : Texas Law requires a 60 day waiting period before new state employees are eligible to enroll in health insurance.
