**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our kitchen to individual homes throughout Sullivan County. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load/unload procedures, and the ability to follow procedures at all times. The ideal candidate will have experience with older adults and have the physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (50 lbs,) and moving. **Responsibilities:**
- Operate your vehicle to transport goods from the main office to various destinations
- Load and unload goods up to 50 lbs.
- Safely navigate routes and follow traffic laws according to organizations route schedule, state and federal laws.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of goods
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery area and vehicle
- Communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Meet delivery deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
-Route is 2 hours per day and fill in on other routes as needed. Fill-in routes may require additional hours.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- Experience with route driving and load/unload procedures
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving
- Valid driver's license
- Familiarity with courier services and the ability to navigate various delivery routes
- Experience with moving and handling heavy goods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
