What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant/Outreach Specialist position at Sullivan County Nutrition Services?
This job will require, when applicable, individual to travel to homes throughout Sullivan County to meet with older adults to determine eligibility for Meals-on-Wheels and process applications. Currently, evaluations occur via phone.
Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Position requires individual to be personable, efficient and have a thorough understanding of office management. Sitting for long periods of time is required.
Position may require assistance with deliveries, as needed. Assisting in general office practice will be necessary.
Position requires individual to maintain and protect the confidentiality of the people we serve and quality service by following organizations standards.
Must be able to accurately complete multiple tasks in a timely manner with accuracy and perform in a deadline-driven environment.
