We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and professional to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. While someone with experience in the veterinary field would be preferred, we are very open to providing training and education to the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
- Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
- Providing customer service such as greeting customers, answering basic pet care questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
- Answering phone calls which may include answering basic pet care questions, scheduling appointments, and recording messages for doctors and team
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and email
- Updating and file patient charts
- Entering data into computerized billing program (Avimark)
- Retrieving prescriptions
- Assisting with pet supply purchases
- Maintaining the cleanliness of waiting room and reception area
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long period
Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
- Customer service experience
- Organizational skills

Schedule:
- 35-40 Hours Per Week
- 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM four days per week
- 1 hour lunch
- Occasional Saturdays Required (on a rotating schedule with other team members)
