POSITION Â SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining and improving the store conditions and customer environment. Also responsible for daily store operations while the manager on duty is off or  unavailable.

Essential  Functions Statement(s)
• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Resolve any customer or employee issues. Respond to any equipment failure or issue to resolve and repair.
Manage any operational or other workplace/workforce, customer related issue that may take place during scheduled shift.
• Monitor front end of the business to keep grocery lines moving at  checkout.
• Provide guidance and direction to enhance line flow and efficient customer  checkout.
• Routinely walk and inspect sales floor to resolve any cleanliness, stocking, other related issues that need resloving in the store.
• Count and record monies received during the business day.
• Maintain clear and concise records of any cash overages or  shortages.
• Work perishable departments to review stock, dairy, produce,  etc...
• Maintain operation of store and direct/manage condition of the store to ensure condition standards are consistently met while during the working day.
• Direct and supervise all grocery employees during shift until manager or assistant manager returns.
• Responsible for office money and  inventory.
• Responsible for all aspects of the store while on  duty.
