Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is seeking an Account Executive (Car Dealers). This position manages the assigned dealerships to ensure optimal performance and profitability while delivering the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction to grow business and increase sales. You will work closely with management to increase profitability through improved efficiencies and productivity levels. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding established objectives in the areas of sales, units, profitability, gross profit, and employee and customer engagement for assigned channel. Utilizes all informational tools and software to control expenses and maintain optimal productivity and workflow levels. Create call reports for all customer visits.
- Develop best practice standards to maximize workflow efficiencies and sales volume / objectives for the assigned dealerships (GM & Ford). Work with counterparts at dealership to manage the tire inventory management software system (TIM’S) to ensure proper inventory levels and sales targets at achieved / surpassed.
- Partner with wholesale management, sales team, CDS’s, and location managers to develop strategies so that we can meet or exceed established wholesale deliverables and sales targets.
- Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers to ensure long term growth in sales and profits.
- Work with and train sales team GM and Ford programs features, benefits and electronic ordering and stocking programs.
- Maintain and grow tire manufacturer programs with assigned customers and manufacturer representatives.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested. In addition, and not limited to, delivering tires, answering phones, and putting away tires.
- Representatives would be visiting customers 3-4 per week.
Education / Experience :
Minimum of high school diploma with 3-5 years of industry / wholesale experience. College degree recommended, but not required.
