We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Sullivan Tire team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Performing vehicle repairs and services, including tire mounting, balancing, and repair.
- Conducting vehicle safety inspections and providing accurate reports.
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, heating, and cooling systems, alignment, and light tune-ups.
- Providing repair estimates and communicating with customers and sales staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A technical degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer service focus in a retail environment.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
- BASIC conflict resolution skills.
- Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.
- Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs.
- Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
