We are currently looking for a full-time Vice President of Enrollment Management. The Vice President of Enrollment Management oversees the admissions and student success teams at Sullivan University, guiding the entire enrollment process to ensure student recruitment and retention goals are met. This role is responsible for ensuring students are enrolled in programs that align with their educational objectives, all while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Provides leadership to admissions and student success teams.
  • Collaborates with the internal and external marketing team on a strategic and tactical planning for the marketing of Sullivan University, to improve existing marketing strategies and processes and to develop new strategies and processes.
  • Facilitates a culture of evidence and accountability in enrollment management. Manages recruitment, training, supervision and professional development, and evaluation of staff.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the Offices of Student Success and Admissions to ensure operational alignment with institutional enrollment goals.
  • Assesses, evaluates, and ensures effective ROI on recruitment initiatives.
  • Conceptualizes and articulates enrollment management organizational goals, focusing on being student-centered with excellent customer service, transparent operations, and measurable positive outcomes.
  • Builds, leads, and motivates the appropriate teams to ensure that enrollment goals are met.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive strategic enrollment management plan. Creates and leads the strategic direction for the admissions and student success, developing long- and short-term strategies that ensure a diverse student population's access to and success at the University, while supporting the enrollment goals.
  • Develops strategies to engage faculty and other university personnel in the execution of enrollment initiatives.
  • Analyzes data and utilizes predictive and statistical modeling to create and meet enrollment goals.
  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal agencies. Remain on the cutting edge for recruiting.
  • Evaluates existing technology and information systems used in the enrollment areas.
  • Creates an environment of collegiality, inclusiveness, and support for the university's diverse student body and provides leadership and direction in the administration of a comprehensive range of services, policies, and procedures.
  • Escalation contact for all enrollment management issues.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulations governing the college admissions process.
  • Reports to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors on all enrollment management activities of the university to include lead distribution, student projection, drop rate and retention, recommending strategies accordingly to ensure that enrollment objectives are met.
  • Ensures effective use of technology and analysis of data in achieving enrollment objectives.
  • Plans, schedules, and as appropriate, teaches training programs for all admissions and student success leadership and staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements of the position include:

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree.
  • Ten years of experience in proprietary college enrollment management department, with at least five years in a leadership role.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently while meeting required deadlines.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekend hours as necessary to monitor and support the activities of the staff.
  • Must possess excellent leadership, customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, Campus Vue, Explorer.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff face to face and via the telephone.
