Bonds Account Executives are responsible for working with Sales Executives to establish and nurture new client relationships while ensuring the retention of existing clients. They specialize in bonding solutions, providing expert guidance on surety and fidelity bonds. They foster positive client relationships by delivering tailored bond programs, ensuring compliance with underwriting requirements, and diligently servicing assigned accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, positive relationships with clients, understanding their unique bonding needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with sales executives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, participating in client meetings and presentations as necessary.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for clients, analyzing their bonding requirements and recommending appropriate surety and fidelity bond solutions.
- In partnership with the service team, ensure the accurate and timely processing of bond applications, renewals, riders, and other administrative tasks related to assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and pricing for bond placements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and bonding products to provide up-to-date and informed advice to clients.
- Maintain organized and accurate client records, documentation, and communication through the Agency Management System.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or other related fields is preferred.
- Insurance designation such as AFSB, CPCU, CRIS or other related programs or the ability and willingness to attain designation within 18 months as Account Executive.
- 10 years of Bond account management experience or Bond sales.
- Hold current and valid Property and Casualty insurance license.
- In depth understanding of surety and fidelity bonds, bond underwriting principles, and risk management practices is necessary.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct risk assessments, analyze coverage needs, and propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely policy processing and documentation.
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and underwriters to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with AMS 360 and Image Right preferred.
- Proficiency in orchestrating and hosting virtual meetings using platforms like Teams and Zoom, encompassing the capability to share screens and deliver presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.).
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
