Job Summary
The Late Night Shift Leader is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager/AGM.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. As well as maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
- Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
- Follow up with employees on assigned tasks and monitor training of employees during shifts.
- Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift (8pm - 4 am) on Friday and Saturday nights.
