Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Recruiting and Onboarding, the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Administrator supports the full cycle of talent attraction, hiring and onboarding of full-time and part-time staff in support of operational objectives and the association's strategic plan. Responsibilities include the management of job postings, internal and external, receipt and processing of hiring requests, initiation of background checks and other pre-hire processes to efficiently onboard new employees.
Critical areas of expertise include : High attention to detail, solid customer service skills, experience with HR systems or other databases, social media experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Talent Acquisition Administration
- Creating and posting job requisitions (part and full-time)
- Posting and monitoring job requisitions to external job sites (examples : Handshake and YUSA.net)
- Monitor applications with low applicants and suggest recruiting techniques to attract candidates
- Monitor hiring manager communication to applicants to ensure timely hiring
- Monitor careers@tampaymca.org email box and respond to applicants in a timely manner
- Process hiring requests and create and send offer letters
- Initiate Level I and II background checks, issue pre-employment drug screenings when needed
- Act as backup to fingerprint candidates
- Monitor clearance status of new hires
- Schedule new employees into new hire session
- Support administration of new hire session
- Communicate with hiring manager regarding status of hires in process
Onboarding Administration
Schedule full-time onboarding sessions with various speakers and ensure new hires get into a session within their first six months.
Demands on evening and weekend availability can increase based on hiring volume or seasonal demand.
Performs other duties as assigned.
