Summary Function: Semi-skilled work in the carpentry and painting professions. Scope: Construction and maintenance of University facilities and projects. Duties Essential: Assist and perform as directed various building maintenance duties. Assist carpenters and painters as directed. Work shall meet or exceed the standards of the Building Maintenance Department. Employee shall practice safe work habits, proper safety procedures, and use personal protective devices; must also actively participate in safety training programs. Other duties as assigned. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
