Off Campus Work Study - Alpine Public Library

This position will support the services delivered through Alpine Public Library. The position will primarily be responsible for helping shelve and organize library collection materials, help prepare the library facilities for program use, check shelves and overdue items, and apply acquired knowledge to help customers locate materials. Applicants will be expected to:• Project a positive and pleasant attitude to the public• Cooperate and maintain an effective relationship with other staff members as part of a team.• Shelve library materials.• Locate requested items.• Put books in order on shelves• Assist staff with checking materials for damage and removing them from the shelves.• Adhere to library policies and procedures.• Perform any other tasks as requested.This position is security sensitive.
