SummaryWorking Business Services this position provides exceptional customer support to process requisitions for University Departments for all campuses. Working with external procurement and contracts for purchasing in accordance with University Policy and State Rules and Regulations.Scope:Assuring accuracy of key factors such as fund and organization elements in the accounting structure, budget, and other requirements before processing requisitions. Also helping with options on procurement including bids required per policy.DutiesEssential: Working with departments on purchasing needs and processing the requisition. Following up with external procurement and contracts to make sure policy and regulations are met with how items or services are procured. Check requests for Pcard for budget and assure the department follows purchasing guidelines. Check insurance requirements. Review accounting used on all purchases. Back up support for the Post Office.Non-Essential: Duties within the Business Services area and other duties as assigned.Supervision:Received: Supervision from Director of Business Services in the Business Services area and cross trained in Accounting.Given: May supervise students.Working ConditionsUsual: Office conditions; standard hours.
