Buyer / Planner - Full-time - Portland, OR (US)

We are looking for a Buyer / Planner to join our FE_WIBU team in Portland, OR. This position will manage operational purchasing process and ensure on-time and in quality availability of materials & services.
Your main tasks and responsibilities :
- Supports Operational Purchasing Manager in all areas operational purchasing and other relevant matters.
- Mentors junior purchasing professionals.
- Maintains overall responsibility for purchase order placement and incoming process with suppliers.
- Executes operational order placement.
- Tracks order fulfillment, participates in post-order compliance and runs most NCR / claim handling processes.
- Provides support for supplier development (e.g. support supplier qualification)
- Creates and implements category strategies for locally managed-spend sub-categories (following
- the guidelines of global procurement if appropriate).
- Performs supplier selection and oversees / performs qualification for local spend categories.
