Operations Manager: Full Time - Bridgeport, NJ

Position Overview: We are seeking an Operations Manager for our Services_AME team in Bridgeport, NJ. This role involves managing all operational aspects of the Service Center, including capital expense, quality, cost of goods sold, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the Service Center.
- Supervise cost estimation, project coordination, manufacturing engineering, production control, direct labor staff, hydraulic testing, master scheduling, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate with the sales network to achieve budget and Mid-Range Plan volume levels.
- Participate in special studies and analyses as needed.
- Coordinate with other Sulzer Service Centers to integrate the Global Manufacturing Network for cost reduction.
- Secure strategic alliances to support Sulzer’s Mid-Range Plan objectives.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance.
- Support and participate in company-wide safety and Total Quality Management (TQM) programs.
- Perform miscellaneous assignments and research projects as needed.
- Oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Service Center.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Business experience in operations, planning, finance, and marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- 5-7 years’ experience with pumps or similar equipment preferred.
- Ability to develop and foster a team environment.
