Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Repair Engineer to join our Services_AME team in the United States. This opportunity is perfect for recent graduates with a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation for accuracy and routing.
- Analyze inspection results and collaborate with the Area Superintendent and shop personnel to determine the scope of work required for repairs.
- Plan repairs, including labor hours, purchase requirements, work instructions, and total cost.
- Complete work instruction packages (work orders, prints, procedures, inspection forms).
- Consult with vendors to determine availability, quality, quantity, and best pricing for job-related materials.
- Prepare and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipping tasks to ensure compliance with customer commitments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop processes related to pump repair and the manufacturing of pump parts or closely related equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment.
