Buyer/Planner - Full-time - Easley, SC (US)

We are looking for a Buyer/Planner to join our FE_WIBU team in Easley, SC. The Buyer/Planner performs daily procurement actives to ensure goods are available for production and support activities while using acceptable inventory management principles.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Request quotes and compare for best pricing. Select vendors from approved list based on price, delivery and quality.
- Plans and coordinates purchases to obtain maximum price discounts based on volume and delivery requirements.
- Read daily MRP records and create PO's accordingly.
- Maintain and develop Kanban program for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain info records for materials in SAP. (vendors and pricing)
- Maintain Recordkeeping process for Purchase Orders.
- Expedite Purchase Orders and authorize air-freight depending on requirements.
- Maintain Material Masters in SAP for system integrity (lead times)
- Work closely with Accounting and Receiving to resolve invoice problems.
- Make MRO purchases as necessary.
- Manage Cycle Count program( Root Cause analysis and corrective actions)
- Create Corrective Actions for non-conforming material.
- Continuous analysis of safety stock to achieve optimum levels
- Follows quality procedures according to ISO 9001.
- 2 year Associates Degree in related field or equivalent training/experience.
- Minimum of three year’s experience in purchasing and /or inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in SAP MM module.
- Proficiency in use of caWeb software.
- Written and verbal communications skills
