Job Overview
We are seeking an Assembly Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with experience in surface mount technology and logic controllers.
Note: Resources must be IPC certified (Mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery for assembly tasks
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes
- Keep work area clean.
- Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment.
- Perform tasks with the assistance of microscopes.
- Perform functional product testing as required.
- Document the quantity of parts inspected.
- Weigh count, package and label finished product.
- Perform simple operation involves a repetitive simple task, typically with a single step.
Requirements
- Proficiency in surface mount technology and logic controllers
- Repetitive, manual assembly and packaging of products using simple mechanical equipment and/or tools.
- Mechanical knowledge for machining and fabrication tasks
- Experience with electrical wiring and assembly techniques
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly work
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Able to read and understand procedures.
- Able to perform quality checks, looking for defects such as splits, flash, loose debris, and the ability to discern letters or numbers at a given distance.
Education:
- Intermediate position that requires a bachelor’s degree or 2-5 years of equivalent experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.77 - $21.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Experience:
- Assembly line: 5 years (Preferred)
- Hand tools: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- IPC Certification (Required)
