Overview:
A Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware systems and components. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, a creative mindset for innovative design solutions, and strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize hardware performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Design and Development:
- Design and develop hardware components such as PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), microprocessors, and embedded systems.
- Create schematics, circuit layouts, and system architectures using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to integrate hardware with system software.
Prototyping and Testing:
- Develop prototypes to validate hardware designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct testing and debugging of circuits and systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform design validation through simulation and lab testing.
Documentation:
- Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and test reports.
- Maintain records of hardware revisions and modifications.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
- Communicate design progress and challenges to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance and Standards Compliance:
Skills Required:-
- Need 5 years of experience in High-speed board designing.
- Hands on experience in Circuit /Schematics designing
- Experience in working with high end CPUs, DDR memory, highspeed Serdes, PCIE etc is required
- Extensive knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, transmission line theory, and other PCBA layout-related issues.
