Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, computer networking, and hands-on experience with various technical tools and equipment.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment and systems
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve network issues
- Handle cabling tasks including termination and testing
- Conduct fiber splicing and maintain fiber optic networks
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks
- Work with Cisco routers and switches
- Provide support for telephone and VoIP systems
- Utilize hand tools for equipment installation and repairs
Skills
- Proficiency in IT concepts and computer networking
- Experience working as a service technician or in a related field
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches
- Ability to perform fiber splicing tasks
- Strong understanding of cabling standards and practices
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
