Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient production of goods.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials and products in a manufacturing environment
- Adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards
- Assist in packaging finished products for distribution
- Work in warehouse and laboratory settings as needed
- Operate machinery to fabricate parts or products
- Perform basic machining tasks as required
- Utilize forklifts for material movement
- Support Lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Previous experience in materials handling within a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and laboratory procedures is beneficial
- Ability to fabricate components using various tools and equipment
- Proficiency in machining techniques is advantageous
- Certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing practices would be an asset
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
