What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning Coordinator/Customer Service position at Suminoe Textile of America Corporation?
The planning coordinator will schedule production process in order to meet customer shipping requirements, fully utilize machines and ensure successful day to day operations. Additionally, open communications must be kept with all relevant departments to keep up with adjustments and potential issues etc. Additionally, for customer service the associate will help develop and utilize departmental systems to allow effective and efficient operation of the department.
- Comply with 6S and all other company policies, rules, and procedures at all times.
- Is aware of all company and customer quality concerns, ensures respect of auditing requirements in the area
- Coordinate and monitor raw materials on the floor
- Create and maintain shop orders and material components
- Pull daily inventory summary report and monitor inventory levels
- Train planning administrator and cover their job as needed
- Assist with company wide inventory
- work with purchasing department for material orders with vendors and verify purchase order receipt
- Prepare maintain and deliver all documents/ reports as requested by manager
- Support ramp up and build out projects.
- Promote a team environment where all employees work together to obtain results
- Track delivery performance, premium freight, and customer issues and report to manager on a timely basis.
- Analyze forecast and report any changes 10% or more to the manager
- Manage delivery schedule with all production departments report as requested.
- Communicate as needed to resolve and report all delivery issues
- Initiate orders for replacement parts and or for correction of errors
- Handle distressed customers in a professional manner/ understand their perspective/situation and resolve conflicting interest in order to obtain cooperation and achieve win-win results.
