As a Client Onboarding & Product Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both the onboarding experience and the product itself.

What You’ll Do

Client Onboarding & Data Migration

• Assist Customer Success in onboarding new clients by converting data from legacy systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and importing it into SumIt.
• Work with the engineering team to create new onboarding tools to streamline the onboarding process.
• Ensure accuracy of uploaded data by cross-referencing reports provided by clients.
• Create and improve documentation, templates, and project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts) to streamline the onboarding process and provide visibility to clients.

Product & Accounting Expertise

• Provide accounting expertise to the Product team to help shape features that align with real-world user needs.
• Learn every aspect of SumIt and develop support documentation for our Help Center.
• Test new and existing features as we release frequent updates, acting as the go-to subject matter expert for product validation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an accountant (e.g. public accounting, investment company)
• Accounting degree or relevant experience (CPA is a bonus!).
• Bonus if you have experience working with general ledger (GL) systems (e.g QBO, Sage, Archway, Eton) and billpay / T&E systems (e.g. Bill.com, Ramp, Concurr)
• Extra Bonus if you have experience with family office accounting (portfolio accounting, partnership accounting, trust accounting).
