Product Manager Job Description :
- Product Manager is responsible to strengthen existing business, create new business, expand revenue and profits for the company and forming strategic partnerships utilizing our global network of partners and supply base for multiple product groups :
Metal Products, Specialty Steel / Nickel Bar long products / Wire rod, Specialty Tube, Plate & Fabrications , Forgings, and Castings for application in various markets : Aerospace, Automotive, Power Gen, Oil and Gas, Renewables (Wind / Solar), Nuclear / SMR
Set sales goals and quotas, pursue leads, and move them through the sales cycle including managing sales negotiations
Create budget / prospect and Monitor budget , sales / profit performance
Obtaining RFQs, creating quotations, delivery monitoring, perform support roles such as qualification of new products, addressing customer needs and managing customer claims (quality issue management) and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships
Above responsibility includes traveling to visit customers and accompanying supplier trade missions. Provide timely Meeting Reports and Action Items to follow up on and follow through
Evaluate and create partnerships with potential new supply source partners to match with customer and market needs
Research and develop new markets and opportunities for continuous growth for trade and investment
Attending trade conferences, client meetings; networking and cross-collaboration with other business units / subsidiaries.
Close communication to ensure compliance to Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Logistics to achieve business goals
