Purpose and Scope of Job:
This role focuses on developing web applications and standalone applications, with opportunities to work on exciting projects that drive our business forward. Primarily responsible for reviewing user information technology needs, participating in the design of new or modification of program; defining system requirements, and performing related application programming and database resource work.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):
- Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate applications with ERP systems using APIs.
- Analyze data and create reports using BI tools such as Tableau.
- Write and execute SQL queries to manage and analyze data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in web application development and/or standalone application development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with API integration to connect applications with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with BI tools such as Tableau.
- Write and execute SQL queries to manage and analyze data.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish to support development for Latin American subsidiaries.
- Familiarity with AS400 RPG, RPGLE Programing language and IBM I series Administration.
- Familiarity with .Net programming language.
- Experience with other WMS and Accounting tools.
- Experience with managing and supporting EDI applications.
