Summary
Performs various hospital food services duties (e.g., assembles, delivers, and retrieves patient trays, washes dishes, pots, carts, and service-ware support; sets up, and serves customers in cafeteria). Provides the highest quality of service and respect to others at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
$15.77/hr - $19.85/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.

Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education Required:
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Must possess knowledge of and be in compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (i.e., HACCP)
- Ability to assemble and pass trays
- Demonstrates a helpful and pleasant behavior when communicating with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians and co-workers
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
- Level of Physical Demands:
- Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects.
- Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift, push, and pull light to medium weight objects; occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects
