Performs highly specialized urodynamic (diagnostic) tests. Maintains equipment and ensures proper functionality. Responsible for catheterization of assigned patients; acts as a resource person on the use of urodynamic machines relative to the needs and characteristics of individual cases.
Completion of a two year college program, including coursework in human anatomy and the physiology of the nervous system, a minimum of one year of experience as a urologic/urodynamic tech OR three years acceptable clinical experience in GYN/Urology physician setting. Must have knowledge of urodynamic equipment, its uses and potentialities;

Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
