What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor, Clinical Access Center position at Summa Health?
Provides direct supervision, to staff under the direction of the RN Manager, Clinical Access Center. Interviews and recommends selection of new personnel. Directs, guides, evaluates, counsels, disciplines, and if necessary, recommends dismissal of staff. Ensures that all patient interactions meet federal and state compliance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment
c. Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
Experience and Training Required:
- One (1) to three (3) years experience in a clinical communications center.
- One (1) year of project management or team leader experience preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of health care and medical procedures, including terminology
- Demonstrates communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging fellow team members.
