Performs clerical duties to maintain medical record. Contributes to the organized functioning of the nursing division. Assists in the nursing division s cost efficiency efforts.
Minimum Education
- High school graduate.
- Past clerical experience preferred.
- Must be able to type 35 words per minute.
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to endure incredible pressure
- Must display problem-solving skills, priority setting with organizational skills, and be able to skillfully handle several situations at one time.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills preferred.
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
