Summary :
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager with a strong background in designing and managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for non-residential building projects. This role focuses on technical project execution and client management, ensuring MEP designs are fully integrated and functional for various projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale institutional builds. The ideal candidate has 9-10 years of technical expertise in MEP systems, a degree in Architectural Engineering or Engineering disciplines, and a proven ability to manage client expectations and ensure project delivery on time and within scope.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute MEP design projects for non-residential buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, discussing technical MEP systems, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with architects and other design professionals to ensure MEP systems are well integrated into overall building designs.
- Participate in planning sessions to track workload and ensure projects are on time and within budget, using tools such as Smart Sheets for project tracking and Dynamics ERP for financial management.
- Oversee RFIs, ensuring accurate filing and addressing in team member folders.
- Manage projects ranging from small restroom renovations to large institutional projects, such as college campus buildings.
- Ensure MEP systems intersect effectively with other building disciplines to maintain overall project integrity.
- Identify potential business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships to foster future project work.
