We are looking to fill a key role in our community. We are seeking a full-time LPN or RN who is a self starter and has the ability to work independently with good results. Someone who is motivated and can lead by example.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
· Licensed Nurse in good standing with the State of Washington.
· Clinical experience in long term care, community based care, assisted living or equivalent with proven strong supervisory skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with staff and outside agencies to meet the needs of our residents.
· Professional, clear, effective communication with residents, resident families, staff, outside agencies and the public.
· Must be computer literate with the ability to understand and utilize appropriate systems to effectively maintain documentation, medication / treatment administration and communications with staff.
· Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision, but close collaboration with the Administrator.
· Must be able to pass criminal background.
· Must be able to work respectfully and compassionately with residents of all backgrounds and some with behavioral needs.
· Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience.
· Exhibit excellent time management and organization skills.
· Possess the ability to handle complex issues.
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
Job Description
· Oversee all residents in our Assisted Living.
· Ensures quality resident care is regularly provided in accordance with all local, state and federal guidelines.
· Conducts comprehensive pre-admission, admission, quarterly and ongoing assessments.
· Interact on a professional level with residents, physicians, pharmacists and other medical personnel as needed.
· Supervise nursing staff.
· Supervise the receiving, documenting, distribution and discontinuation of all resident medications.
· Develop and implement resident care plans based on resident interviews, H&P, PCP communications and case manager assessments. Coordinating with IDT regarding admission, care plans and NSA’s.
· Maintain awareness of resident status and implement change as appropriate; coordinate change of condition with administrator and other medical providers as necessary.
· Maintain current and accurate resident records as outlined in policies and procedure manuals.
· Ensures compliance, efficiency and staffs understanding of policies and procedures support the nursing staff of the facility and lead by example.
. Scheduling of nursing staff with assistance, if applicable, from designated personnel.
. RN licensed candidate would be required to be nurse delegator, as necessary, for the building.
· Additional duties as assigned.
GENERALIZED WORK DAY...
This is for a full-time position. Monday - Friday 830-5PM and as necessary depending on the needs of the facility. You will be first point of contact for the nursing staff, as the supervisor, of nursing department.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
