POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facility Operations Team Member is responsible for (1) warehouse cleaning, organizational and efficiency tasks (2) product manufacturing and preparation (3) event loading, setup and breakdown (4) product transportation and distribution (5) grounds-keeping
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maintaining facility efficiency, organizational structure, and cleanliness including areas of but not limited to, warehouse, kitchen, facility grounds
- Assist in manufacturing and packing of the Summer Lakes Beverage product line
- Assist in set up, tear down, and restocking of events
- Assist in product distribution to retail stores with service at every stop including greeting managers, stocking and rotating products, performing basic freezer maintenance tasks at stores, installation and/or removal of freezers at stores when needed, collecting and communicating customer feedback and requests, maintaining positive relationships
- Develop customers base by creating and keeping good rapport with previous and new customers
- Accurately follow documented standard operating procedures, preparation techniques and sanitation practices to ensure product integrity and safety
- Show desire and aptitude for developing new skills and techniques required for the position
- Assist and communicate with Twin Cities Kitchen Works tenants as required
NECESSARY SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience is preferred, in sales, customer service and/or hospitality industry
- Must be 21 years of age
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in indoor and outdoor settings. Work outdoors may have no protection from outside weather conditions. At times, the employee is required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required. The employee may be exposed to dirt, grime, cleaning chemicals, water, dust, spoiled food, and other common sources of uncleanliness. The employee will occasionally spend significant amounts of time in a vehicle for distribution.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear clearly. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, grasping, feeling, fingering and repetitive motion. The employee is required to have close visual acuity. This position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and transporting loads of up to 240 pounds using a loading cart/dolly.
POSITION EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- Full time hours. 32-40 hours per week
- Regular weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, sometimes Sunday) for working deliveries, restocking events, setting up and/or tearing down events, warehouse duties, production, etc.
- Ability to work longer shifts 8 hours during events, production, etc.
- Overtime is a possibility with time ½ pay
TRAVEL
Travel for this position is not required
