Program Description
This is a voluntary summer position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Schedule students into appropriate credit recovery courses
- Manage grade reporting process
- Present OUSD and A-G graduation requirements for every classroom
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Valid California Credential authorizing service in applied position
- Training and experience in the specific programs are required
- Experience with presenting to students and classrooms
- Experience with the grade reporting process
- Demonstrate ability to motivate at-risk youth
Please note that selected candidates will be assigned based on program needs. Selected candidates are expected to commit to the program for the duration of the assignment. Offer and continuation of employment is dependent upon level of student enrollment and attendance. Notice of employment will be sent to the selected candidates. Qualified personnel from within the district will be considered for placement. Should qualified personnel not be available, the district may accept candidates from outside the district. Per OEA contract Article 23.3.3.3, unit members will not be selected for more than two consecutive years. Should no qualified applicants apply, unit members may serve for more than two consecutive years.
