Successful applicant will teach various science courses, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
In accordance with Berkeley County Schools Teacher Salary Scale with verified years of experience and degree level.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
West Virginia teacher certification in general science, physical science, earth/space science, physics, chemistry, chemistry/physics, biological science, or general/physical science for grades 9-12.
Required skills and abilities include: minimum of a Bachelor's degree; state education licensure with appropriate grade level endorsement; ability to guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals; effective classroom management; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; and the ability to work as part of a team.
