What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESY Speech Pathologist position at Summer School?
Position Description:
1. Providing services to identified language, speech, and communication disordered students.
2. To complete assessments, develop education plans, and implement instructional programs.
3. To participate in staffings and IEP meetings.
4. To maintain and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) on all children in the program.
5. To order and maintain equipment, supplies, and materials for the programs.
6. To perform other tasks as assigned.
Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Valid Oregon certificate/license appropriate to the assignment.
2. Prefer public school experience as a speech-language pathologist.
3. Prefer Master's degree in language and speech pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence.
4. Able to diagnose language, speech, and/or hearing disorders.
5. Able to recommend to parents the referring of children needing to see a specialist/agencies for diagnosis and treatment of speech/language, and/or hearing problems beyond the scope of the school program.
6. Individual that is bilingual and has an understanding of second language acquisition is preferred.
7. Must be punctual and dependable.

Schedule: July 7-July 24, 2025; Monday -Thursday, four hours per day
