Elementary Summer Literacy and Mathematics (SLAM) Administrator

Three or more years of successful teaching experience, completion of one or more years in the Millard Leadership Academy and hold a valid administrator certificate.
This program will provide reading instruction for academically at-risk students from across the district. Students will attend by invitation only and will have completed Kindergarten-4th grade. Millard preschool students entering Kindergarten may also be invited for Kindergarten Readiness. The program includes transportation and breakfast/lunch each day.
The morning will provide reading intervention and students will be grouped by reading level. In the afternoon, students will participate in enrichment courses focused on math and other STEM activities. For additional information please contact Kara Hutton (402-715-8708).
Responsibilities include selection and development of program/classes, selection, and assignment of staff, secure substitutes as needed, develop master schedule, assign rooms, requisition supplies and distribute materials, supervise staff and students, coordinate transportation and food service, develop family engagement activities, submit payroll, manage all program communications, and complete final report.
We will hire two summer administrators for each school.
