Summerfield Post Acute Rehab is currently seeking to hire a very enthusiastic, goal driven, independent Maintenance Assistant. QUALIFICATIONS:
This is an entry-level position ideal for those who enjoy fixing things and working with their hands. Experience in maintenance, janitorial, construction, landscaping, etc is preferred but we'll train anyone.

SCHEDULE:
This position is full time and the days may vary based on the need of the department.
Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to our Director of Maintenance and assists with completing all maintenance tasks as necessary to ensure a safe and clean environment. Examples include:
-Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
-Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, and other landscaping tasks as necessary/directed.
-Assist with painting interior/exterior as directed.
-Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
-Assist with general housekeeping and laundry duties as directed.
-Clean windows and screens as directed.
-Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
-Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
