The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks and facilitating HR processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, and forwarding resumes to Department Managers.
- Do pre-screening of all applicants, including background checks, drug tests, etc.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and meet with them to complete. Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain employee physical files.
- Enter and maintain employee records in Netchex. This includes checking payroll time and making necessary corrections
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and other employment laws.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively is a must.
- Previous experience in an HR role is preferred, with familiarity in recruiting processes and employee relations.
- Proficiency in using ATS software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Netchex payroll system. is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
