Schedule: 15-20 hours a week. To be mutually agreed upon. Some weekend availability is required. This position is seasonal and will end before Christmas.
Compensation: $16-19 an hour depending on experience

We are looking for an energetic, creative Merchandiser. Must be a self-starter, creative, have positive energy, and love Christmas! Primary responsibility is crafting ideas for decorating the shop, implementing those ideas, and refreshing all displays regularly. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. This is a support position reporting to the store manager.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years in a design or visual merchandising role in a retail store
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Clear, concise communication including great listening skills
- Positive and upbeat in appearance and attitude
- Passionate about creating beauty in people’s lives
- Creative flair with a strong visual sense
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Primary:
- Offer new display ideas to leadership and develop a plan of action
- Communication with store leadership to discuss and plan floor design, layout formats, items to be displayed, and creative flow of the store merchandise
- Actively optimize lighting to display merchandise and showcase the presentations to maximize customer engagement
- Set up, maintain, and remove displays based on store leadership and advertising trends
- Ensuring all products on the floor have a price sign or label, & making appropriate signage and labels
- Refreshing all displays and areas as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
