Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Agent to join our team at a boutique independent hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Conduct night audit duties as needed pending scheduled shift
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Previous experience in front desk or guest service roles preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality management or related field experience is beneficial
