Job Summary
The Maintenance Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations of our facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, facilities management, and supervisory skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment status.
- Oversee HVAC systems maintenance and repairs to ensure proper climate control within facilities.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for troubleshooting and repairs of various systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in low voltage systems, industrial maintenance, and facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and maintenance management principles.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
