A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC MANAGER
As an HVAC Manager, your day starts with reviewing the service schedule and ensuring that each technician has a full day's work. You prepare your team for the day ahead by holding a team meeting to go over any issues or concerns as well as any special instructions or tasks that need to be completed. Once the team is on the road, you monitor their progress throughout the day to ensure that each job is completed to the highest standards and that any customer concerns are addressed promptly.
In addition to overseeing our technicians, you are also responsible for managing sales and inventory. Working closely with our sales team, you ensure that all service and replacement quotes are accurate and competitive and you look for new ways to grow our business. You also maintain inventory levels to ensure that your team has the necessary parts and equipment to complete each job quickly and efficiently. Throughout the day, you respond to customer inquiries, answer calls, and respond to emails, ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner. As a department manager, your satisfaction comes from providing great work for our customers and leading an excellent team!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC MANAGER
- 5 years of experience in the heating and cooling industry
