Job Summary:
The Summers-Taylor Production Worker will work at a production line and effectively pack and seal inventory of fifty-pound salt bags. The Team Member will load and unload railcars and tractor trailers to expedite delivery of products to customers. This Production Line Worker must be able to safely lift heavy bags of inventory by hand, utility dolly or forklift and stock properly in assigned area. Punctuality is a necessity as trucks and trains are on a precise schedule.
Job Duties:
- Working on production line to package and seal inventory.
- Work closely with coordinators for daily orders.
- Operate material handler to load and unload railcars, trailers, and dump trucks.
- Maintain running logs for all trucks that are weighed in and out.
- Always keep inventory neat and orderly.
- Manual lifting of fifty pounds for most of the shift may be required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in the material handling field in a warehouse required.
- Must be willing to drive to Greeneville Warehouse, and Johnson City when required.
- Must display strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Must comply with pre-employment background checks, physical, and drug screens.
- Must comply with I-9 and E-Verify.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.15 - $17.27 per hour
