About the role
Supervises a crew of field installers to install products to drawing specifications.
What you'll do
- Independently make decisions and prioritize tasks for efficient project execution.
- Study diagrams to determine construction dimensions accurately.
- Ensure trucks and barges are cleaned, gassed, and prepared daily.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Lead crew readiness and departure by 7am with necessary materials.
- Safely transport and maneuver all company equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols among crew members.
- Oversee crew leadership and assist with hiring needs.
- Maintain high standards of quality for customer satisfaction.
- Inspect and manage inventory of barge tools.
- Review projects to ensure highest quality and functionality.
- Communicate job status and changes to the office for billing and planning.
- Recommend procedures for maintenance or modifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of field experience in construction and management.
- Completion of specified installations and operating hours for barge certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of solid surface or carpentry experience preferred.
- Crane experience, welding, and boat driving skills preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and operate power tools.
- Clean MVR and ability to haul trailers.
- Heavy lifting up to 100lbs.
- Dependable, self-motivated, with basic carpentry skills.
