We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking and reporting on inventory movements, and ensuring accuracy of inventory data. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Inventory Control Specialist will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure that inventory is accurately tracked and reported.
You must be able to lift 55 pounds. Efficiency and accuracy are keys to success in this role. You must have reliable transportation and/or childcare. Attendance and timeliness are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and order new stock when necessary.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, costs, and movements.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve inventory management.
- Pick/Pack/Pull items for shipments.
- You must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: The ability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. The ability to write basic correspondence. The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, as well as multiply and divide by 10's and 100's. The ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, weight, volume, and distance. The ability to quickly learn new software as the company grows and expands.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
