Job Summary:
We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to support the management, configuration, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. This role will be responsible for maintaining system performance, implementing enhancements, and ensuring alignment with business requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience administering ServiceNow, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Support ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SOM, SPM, GRC/IRM, SecOps, SAM/HAM, and others as required by business needs.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within the platform.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to maintain platform stability.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional configurations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure high availability.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance analytics for stakeholders.
- Assist with integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
- Provide end-user training, support, and documentation for new features and updates.
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a related IT administration role.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data management, workflows, and configuration capabilities.
- Experience with ServiceNow administration tasks, including user management, security, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide, UI policies, and business rules within ServiceNow.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management best practices.
- Experience working with end-users providing multiple levels of support through all
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
- Strong documentation skills
Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Required or preferred based on company needs)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
